Our Compost

We produce Fungal Dominant Compost . Our compost has a Fungi to Bacteria ratio in excess of 3:1 making this product beneficial for building healthy soil, heartier plants, and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers.

The residential size Bio Reactor uses a 121 Litre garbage container with 2.5" air supply system to support the leaf decomposition. These reactors are ideal for a residential composting setup. It requires approximately 10-15 bags of leaves to completely fill this reactor. 

The large scale Bio Reactor uses 48' high 1/2 inch wire mesh cloth to make the outer shell. The base is a wood construction in form of a cross with 5 air ventilation holes drilled at specific distances to maximize air flow. Inserted into each air hole is a chimney constructed from the 1/2' wire mesh to allow air flow to the biomass in the reactor. This reactor can be made in various sizes. We are currently using a 46" diameter reactor for our large scale composting.
